Evolución Tecnológica de los Sistemas Remotos de Monitoreo en las Instalaciones Fotovoltaicas

Resumen

Resumen: Este artículo presenta una visión general de soluciones de monitoreo remoto para instalaciones fotovoltaicas, junto con las principales propuestas, productos comerciales y experiencias internacionales. El documento se centra en tres aspectos principales: i) Consumo de los aparatos de medición de datos y de registro, ii) Requerimientos de almacenamiento para determinadas condiciones de frecuencia de registro de datos o registro históricos de series de datos. iii) Programas informáticos con licencias proporcionados por los fabricantes de sistemas solares.

Por otra parte, se presenta una revisión detallada de una plataforma basada en web para la supervisión de los sistemas fotovoltaico. Esta revisión se centra en las experiencias reales en base a las características siguientes: i) sensores inalámbricas de bajo consumo para recopilar información en tiempo real, ii) la escalabilidad del sistema, iii) cantidad de información (datos en tiempo real e informes periódicos) para procesar, almacenar y publicar, y iii) un conjunto de servicios electrónicos de código abierto y aplicaciones web. Finalmente, se describe una propuesta de una nueva arquitectura para sistemas de control aislado fotovoltaicos en Ecuador.

Abstract: This paper presents an overview of remote monitoring solutions for PV installations along with the main proposals, commercial products and international experiences proposed in the literature. The paper is focused on three main features: i) consumption of data measuring and recording devices, ii) storage requirements for certain conditions of data logging frequency or historical data series register, and iii) proprietary software provided by solar manufacturers.

Furthermore, a detailed review of cloud-based platform for monitoring of PV systems is present. This review focuses on real experiences based on following features: i) low consumption wireless sensors to gather real-time information, ii) extreme scalability of the system, iii) huge amount of information (real-time data and periodic reports) to process, store and publish, and iii) a set of open source e-services and web applications. Finally, a proposal of new architecture for isolated PV monitoring systems in Ecuador is described.
